As jaded as your post sounds, I think there is fact there as well. Of course, I did just read your post. I do write my own blog. Things that make you go hmmm.
I think there is a bit more to the reality of blogging than what you have described here, but I do not doubt that it takes the right circumstances to rise above that part of blogging reality.

Thank you for coming by Scott. My post was mainly inspired by the amount of internet forums who´re selling nothing but baked air. The modern versions of the quack doctors who used to sell their latest ¨miracle-medicine” on the market places. I must admit that the WordPress forum is still one of the most civilized and honest ones if you compare it to what happens on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with their so called “influencers”. I also have difficulties to grope with the concept that what you call the blogging reality increasingly becomes the reality. In some aspects the internet became a huge parasite that sucks away people´s energy to deal with the real world.
